8 hours agoby fynwood_productsFinal set of wardrobe doors painted and rehung. That’s seven large doors and five smaller doors, all taken off, hinges and handles removed, sanded, undercoated, glossed and now rehung. Plus three wardrobe frames. I’ve enough painting for the moment so I might finally start on my tablesaw bench rebuild next week. . . . #fynwood_products#housedecoration#painting
1 day agoby fynwood_productsI picked up some short lengths of New Zealand Matai today from Kenneally Timber in Kaiapoi. They only have it (cheap) now and again so I needed buy it while it was available. This timber will be used to make some tree ornaments to be added to my Native Trees of New Zealand range. . . #fynwood_products#nativetreesofnewzealand#matai
1 week agoby fynwood_productsThe girls doing the READiscover trail in Hagley Park yesterday.
3 weeks agoby fynwood_productsOn the last day of 2018 I thought I would jump on the bandwagon with my #topnine2018 posts. The Owl ornaments were obviously popular at various times. Thank you all for the likes, comments, follows and support that you have given me this year. Next year will start with a batch of home and workshop projects but I am also thinking of adding furniture-making to my repertoire. Not done that before so I’m not sure how that will work out but “fingers crossed”. Happy New Year to all my friends and followers on both IG and FB. . . .
3 weeks agoby fynwood_productsFurther to my last post there is one more "but first" that I forgot about. I need to fit a second drawer on the mobile mitre saw cart. This will initially be used for temporary storage as I dismantle the table saw bench and then for permanent storage later. The second picture is the rough carcass of the new drawer which I'll finish and fit over the weekend. . . . #fynwood_products#fynwood_products_workshop#storage#drawerbuild
